Daejeon Agricultural Center, accepting applications for seed potato distribution until August 29

The Dangjin Agricultural Technology Center is accepting applications for the purchase of government-supplied seed potatoes for the 2025 harvest until the 29th of this month. The Gangwon Potato Seed Promotion Institute will supply a total of 82,500 kg of three varieties of high-quality seed potatoes: 78,000 kg of Jopung (3,900 boxes/20 kg), 3,000 kg of Sumi (150 boxes/20 kg), and 1,500 kg of Dubaek (75 boxes/20 kg). Jopung is an ultra-early variety suitable for early shipment, Sumi is suitable for spring cultivation, and Dubaek is a mid-to-late variety with a high starch content, making it excellent for processing into potato chips and boiled potatoes. The supply price will be confirmed through the Seed Production and Distribution Review Committee in August.
