In 2024, Dagestan, a key grape producer in Russia, achieved a 6% increase in grape harvest, totaling 301.5 thousand tons, with an average yield of 126 c/ha. This growth reflects improvements in both harvesting rate and yield. Dagestan represents 26% of Russia's vineyard area and plans to expand to 35 thousand hectares by 2035. The government has significantly increased its support for viticulture, allocating 678 million rubles this year. Spring planting covered 980 hectares, and preparations for autumn planting are underway, aiming for a total planting area of over 1,264 hectares by the end of the year.
