The Israel Dairy Council has reached an agreement with the government to increase the prices of government-controlled dairy products by 4.9%, not the previously discussed 14%. These price increases will include milk, soft white cheese, and cottage cheese. The prices will be frozen until May 2023, at which point they will be automatically updated. Dairy Board Director Itzik Schneider highlighted the importance of local dairy production to national security.
