Dairy products market in Poland on 29/09/2024

Dairy product sales prices On 23–29.09.2024, dairy plants monitored within the Integrated Agricultural Market Information System of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development sold butter in blocks at PLN 31.71/kg, which was 1% more expensive than in the previous week. This was a price level 4% higher than a month ago. Packaged butter was sold at PLN 36.28/kg, which was 1% more than a week ago and 8% more than a month ago. Block butter was 48.5% more expensive than a year ago, and packaged butter was 50% more expensive, which was mainly the result of smaller supplies of raw milk in the country, rising milk purchase prices and high butter prices on the global market. The SMP sales price was PLN 11.11/kg, which was 3% more than in the previous week and 3.5% more than a month ago. Compared to last year's prices, OMP was 2% cheaper.
