Damietta Port Authority's Media Center announced a significant operational activity over the past 24 hours, with 25 container and general cargo ships having docked. The import movement included thousands of tons of various commodities, such as corn, soybeans, beech wood, iron, oil, wheat, and scrap, while the export movement featured cement, sand, soybean meal, urea, and a diverse mix of agricultural products to countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands. The port also facilitated the export of 130 TEUs of vegetables, crops, fruits, and other commodities to several countries. The media center also highlighted the stock of grain and grain silo in the public sector and the substantial wheat stock in the private sector's warehouses, as well as a train carrying 1,250 tons of wheat that departed from the port.
