Egypt: Damietta Port receives 5,000 tons of sugar

The media center of the Damietta Port Authority issued a statement stating that the port received 9 ships during the past 24 hours, while 8 ships left, indicating that the total number of ships in the port reached 44 container and general cargo ships. The center explained that the imported movement of general goods included thousands of tons of various commodities, as the port received 12,158 tons of wheat, 8,017 tons of corn, and 5,000 tons of iron. The port also received 413 tons of beech wood, 9,101 tons of scrap, 5,000 tons of sugar, and 653 tons of plywood, in addition to the above, 6,440 tons of various goods. The center pointed out that the export movement of general goods included many commodities, such as 6,717 tons of sand, 9,401 tons of urea, and 3,000 tons of gypsum powder.
