The US government, in partnership with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and through the USAID AGRO Program, is launching the AGRI-Ukraine initiative to aid Ukrainian agricultural producers affected by conflict. This initiative will provide farmers in 10 regions with free Dekalb brand corn seeds from Bayer for the 2024 spring planting, distributing a total of 15,756 sowing units. Eligible farms, located in specific districts of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv, can receive up to 25 units each, covering 25 hectares. To participate, farmers must register in the State Agrarian Register, with seed distribution planned for the end of April 2024 and applications open until April 21.
