Union of Unions of Farmers and Livestock Farmers (UdU), based on the latest data published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), warns of a new decline in the production of sheep and goat milk in July 2025, accompanied by a reduction in the number of livestock farmers who made deliveries. As for sheep milk during July 2025, 46.18 million liters were produced, a decrease of 7.16% compared to what was produced in July 2024. The accumulated total for the first seven months of the year is 315.34 million liters, 4.89% less than in 2024. Regarding the price during July, it was set at a national average of 1,198 €/l, which represents an increase of 0.028 €/l compared to the previous month and a 15.34% decrease from the price of July 2024.
