The Egyptian garlic season is experiencing larger harvests of high-quality garlic, despite higher transport costs. The ongoing war in Ukraine is not expected to significantly impact the season, as Garlico Egypt, a leading exporter, is experiencing demand from Europe, Arab countries, and other global markets. Although the conflict has led to reduced exports to Russia and Ukraine, Garlico is shipping to over 60 markets globally. The demand is anticipated to increase as the garlic fully dries in April, with prices expected to be lower than the previous year.
