Demand for non-traditional types of cabbage is growing in Ukraine: cauliflower, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts

An interesting situation is observed on the cabbage market in Ukraine this season. In addition to white cabbage, which has traditionally dominated, demand for other types of cabbage such as cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and savoy cabbage is increasing. The share of these varieties remains much smaller compared to white-headed, but their popularity is growing due to healthy eating and increasing demand in catering establishments. This was reported by Tetyana Popovych, head of the marketing department of the wholesale market of agricultural products "Shuvar" in Lviv, Channel 24 reports.
