Salmon and trout remain the main export products, with an export value of 731 million USD, while exports of bamboo shoots increased by 112.5% year-on-year. The significant increase in exports of bamboo shoots is mainly due to the booming exports to the African market. Taking Côte d'Ivoire as an example, exports of Chilean bamboo shoots surged to 44 million USD, a year-on-year increase of 176.8%; exports to Burkina Faso also grew by 861%, reaching 13 million USD. This expansion into the African market highlights Chile's strategic layout of diversifying its export strategies, practicing responsible production methods to meet global safety standards, and continuously expanding its international influence.
