A report by ISNA reveals that Iran's ports and customs are storing significant amounts of crude oil and oilseeds, with the total reaching over 1.2 million tons. This includes 375 thousand tons of crude oil and 473.7 tons of oilseeds in warehouses, alongside 385,000 tons in vessels. This surge in oil and oilseeds comes amidst rising concerns about the impact of increasing oil prices and shortages, which have led to long queues and double or triple the prices of last year. The most recent Statistics Center report shows that the average price of liquid oil in June was 16,600 Tomans, while solid oil prices soared to over 30,000 tomans per kilogram, marking an increase of 89% and 141.2% for liquid and solid oil, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
