Detailed technical document on the "Genetic Improvement of Rice in Portugal"

This document provides an overview of advances in rice genetic improvement in Portugal. The objective is to inform farmers, technicians, researchers and policy makers about progress in this area for the production of new rice varieties in Portugal. The rice genetic improvement program in Portugal is led by INIAV and Cotarroz, in collaboration with DRAP Centro.
