The State Fund 'Agriculture' in Bulgaria has allocated nearly BGN 79 million in subsidies for the production of fruits and vegetables for the 2022 campaign. These subsidies were distributed to 12,470 farmers who cultivated fruits, vegetables, and greenhouse vegetables. The subsidies are part of various schemes, each focusing on specific crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, and greenhouse producers. The subsidy rates are determined by the Minister of Agriculture and are per hectare, considering the extraction requirement. However, farmers who have not provided the required declaration and inventory for their production will not receive these subsidies.
