Alireza Peyman Pak, an official from ISNA, has announced that a large quantity of chicken and veal meat will be imported into Iran to meet the demand and stabilize meat prices. Each day, 300 tons of hot chicken and 300 tons of frozen chicken will be distributed in markets and chain stores at an approved price. Additionally, 5,000 tons of frozen veal meat will be distributed at the approved livestock affairs support price. Alongside these importations, 100 tons of warm mutton will be imported daily from Russia, Romania, and Mongolia, with the aim of controlling meat prices.
