Prices of livestock products and feed in wholesale markets for the 3rd week of September (collection date: September 18)

According to the monitoring of 500 county wholesale markets and collection points across the country, in the third week of September (collection date September 18), the prices of eggs, beef, and mutton increased compared to the previous week, while the prices of pork products, substitute chicks for eggs, live cattle, soybean meal, and feed for fattening pigs decreased compared to the previous week. The prices of chicken meat, substitute chicks for eggs, fresh milk, corn, feed for broilers, and feed for laying hens remained unchanged compared to the previous week. The average price of piglets nationwide was 30.03 yuan/kg, down 3.0% from the previous week and down 26.8% year-on-year. The price of piglets in Hainan increased, while the prices in 28 provinces including Tianjin, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Chongqing, and Shandong decreased.
