INTERFAX.RU - In 2025/26, Russia is reducing grain exports due to low prices on the global market. This trend may change if the global market conditions improve, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin on Monday. "In 2025, there is an overall growth in export revenue in almost all areas, except for grains. Here, the situation is not very good, we have started exporting less grain. But this is due to extremely low global prices," he said. "But certainly, our grain remains in demand among foreign buyers, and we perfectly understand that if the price situation changes, the volume of its supplies, I think, will increase significantly." According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture, grain exports in the 2025/26 agricultural year (July-June) may amount to 53-55 million tons, including 43-44 million tons of wheat.
