Domestic Farming Difficulties Increase with Flower Imports↑...Quarantine Should Be Strengthened and Import Traders Should Bear Costs

As imported flowers continue to increase significantly each year, voices are calling for strengthening and improving quarantine measures to prevent foreign pests and protect domestic flower farms. A National Assembly forum on 'Efficient Imported Flower Quarantine' hosted by Assemblyman Im Ho-seon (Democratic Party, Jeungpyeong·Jincheon·Eumseong) and organized by the Korea Flower Producers Cooperative Council was held on the 23rd at the National Assembly Member's Hall Third Conference Room.
