Hungary's domestic greenhouse vegetable sector has seen significant growth and improvements in recent years, particularly in the production efficiency and quality of tomatoes, white peppers, and cucumbers. The area for greenhouse tomato production has expanded by 110 hectares, exceeding a total of 310 hectares. This progress has not only met domestic demand but also boosted exports in certain product categories. The sector is expected to further thrive with the introduction of new rural development tenders.
