Korean paprika exports to China

Domestic paprika will be exported to China in earnest. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs held a'Paprica export commemorative event' at Nongsan, an agricultural corporation in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do. The export of domestic paprika to China became possible when the two countries agreed on quarantine conditions in November of last year. It was 13 years after the Korean government started export negotiations with the Chinese government in 2007. In August this year, 820 kg of domestic paprika was exported as a pilot through Busan Port. The event was organized to commemorate the full-scale export of domestic paprika to China. Starting with 1.7 tons of domestic paprika (340 boxes of 5 kg) that day, 1-2 tons of domestic paprika are scheduled to be headed to China every week.
