Pineapple harvest in Dominican Republic delayed after tropical storm

The pineapple harvest in the Dominican Republic has been delayed by what has been described as the country's "largest rainfall on record". From November 17 to 19, a tropical storm hit the island, causing flooding. According to growers and exporters, the storm has caused at least a week's delay in the harvest and export of pineapples.
