Dragon fruit prices in Vietnam have significantly dropped due to a decrease in China's purchases and an abundant crop. The price of white-fleshed dragon fruit has fallen to VND7,000-12,000 per kilogram, while red-fleshed dragon fruit is priced from VND8,000-15,000 per kilogram. This is due to reduced purchases by export enterprises and a shift towards growing Global GAP standard dragon fruit for export to other countries. Despite the decrease, Vietnam's dragon fruit exports have reached nearly 300 million USD in the first half of the year, with China accounting for 68% of this total. However, there has been an increase in purchases from India, the US, South Korea, and the UAE, which may help stabilize prices later in the year.
