Dried beans and chickpeas support to Turkish farmers from Afyonkarahisar Dazkırı District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry

In an effort to boost agricultural productivity, the Afyonkarahisar Dazkırı District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, under the Agricultural Lands Activation Project (TAKEP) initiated in 2020, has been distributing dried beans and chickpeas to local farmers. This initiative, guided by the Ministry's General Directorate of Crop Production, aims to enhance crop yields by promoting the use of effective farming techniques on fallow and underutilized lands. Farmers received dry bean and sorghum sudan grass hybrid seeds with a 75 percent grant, while chickpea seeds were subsidized at 50 percent, significantly supporting agricultural development in the region.
