Turkey: Dried fruits of Erzincan in the foreign market

ERZİNCAN (AA) - BARIŞ YALÇINKAYA - 15 kinds of fruit processed in the facility established by the municipality in the Üzümlü district of Erzincan are exported to 13 countries, primarily the USA and Germany. A "vegetable and fruit drying facility" was established in Üzümlü within the scope of the "We Develop with Education and Production" project financed by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and supported by the Northeast Anatolian Development Agency (KUDAKA) 2020 Social Development Support Program (SOGEP). Vegetables and fruits produced in the region are dried at the facility, which operates in three shifts, after washing, peeling and dividing.
