The Myanmar government, in partnership with the private sector and key organizations like the Ministry of Commerce and the UMFCCI, is focusing on export growth to bolster the national economy. On April 14 and 15, a significant move was made with the export of 87,243 tons of corn kernels from various terminals, including Sule Terminal SPW-6 and Myanmar Industrial Terminal MIP-2. This action is part of a larger strategy to enhance the export of key agricultural products such as aquatic products, rice, beans, and corn, indicating a robust and active trend in Myanmar's export trade aimed at economic development.
