In October, Kazakhstan exported 2,400 tons of durum wheat (excluding the EAEU). In the first two months of the 2025/26 marketing year (September – October), durum wheat exports totaled 10,500 tons, which is 3.6 times less than in the same period last year. “The main buyer, Italy, purchased only 0.8 thousand tons, which is half as much as in September 2025 and 22.5 times less than in October 2024,” noted Evgeniy Karabanov.
