Early corn anticipates a historic bottleneck in Argentine ports

Early corn projections are beginning to set the pace for Argentina's logistics in the lead-up to 2026. With a record production estimate of 61 million tons for the 2025/26 campaign, the cereal not only consolidates its strategic role within the national productive scheme, but also anticipates unprecedented tensions in the transport and port unloading system. The excellent production prospects are largely explained by the soil moisture recharge recorded in recent months and the regularity of rainfall during the critical period of cultivation.
