This week, the EastFruit monitoring region has seen significant changes in the prices of berries and fruits, with peaches, apricots, and raspberries mostly becoming cheaper, while sweet cherries and garden strawberries became more expensive. In the greenhouse vegetables market, there was a sharp decline in cucumber prices in Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, along with onions and potatoes. Cherries saw price increases in Poland, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan due to demand and a poor harvest, while prices for peaches, apricots, and watermelons also varied across countries. In Ukraine, the demand for peaches and tomatoes has led to price increases, while in Georgia and Tajikistan, tomato prices have decreased.
