In July 2021, Ukraine experienced a notable shift in its agricultural trade dynamics. While it imported half as many tangerines as the previous month, its re-export of bananas hit a record high over the past four years, supplying 75 tons to Moldova. The country also saw a significant increase in the export of frozen raspberries and strawberries, with Poland as the primary buyer, and a decline in blueberry imports due to favorable weather conditions. Additionally, there was a decrease in the export of onions and an overall reduction in the import of vegetables like tomatoes, garlic, and potatoes, despite a substantial increase in melon imports.
