Egg prices in the local Egyptian market have increased by about 5 pounds, reaching between 100 and 105 pounds per dish on the farm. The Ministry of Agriculture has increased the production capacity of veterinary vaccines from 120 million to 2 billion doses annually to control diseases and facilitate exports. Egypt's egg production has risen to 13 billion eggs annually, and the government is planning to increase production to meet the Egyptian market's needs and increase exports through an integrated poultry project in Fayoum Governorate. The government is also encouraging the establishment of integrated poultry projects in desert areas and is looking into exploiting clean energy for productive projects.
