Egypt implements 20% wheat price increase for subsidized bread production

Egypt has increased the prices of bread due to a surge in wheat and flour costs. The government has raised the price of a loaf of subsidized bread by 50% to 1.5 Egyptian pounds, and the price of a kilogram of subsidized flour by 45% to 12.5 pounds. This decision aims to stabilize the market and manage the rising costs of essential food items.
