The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce has reported a significant increase in Brazil's exports to Arab countries in the first quarter of 2021, with a value of $2.91 billion, marking an 18.2% increase compared to the same period in 2020. The volume of these exports also saw a 22.5% rise. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the largest importer of Brazilian goods, followed by Bahrain and Egypt. The exports to these countries included iron ore, food products, and poultry and beef. Arab world exports to Brazil also saw an increase of 11.24% in the same period. Osmar Chahfi, President of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, anticipates further growth in trade between Brazil and the Arab countries.
