Egypt to supply record volume of mangoes and guava to EU market in 2023

Over the current year, exporters of mango and guava from Egypt will be able to significantly improve their position in the EU market, EastFruit reports. Already according to the available data for the first 9 months of 2023, the import of Egyptian mangoes and guavas in the EU countries exceeds the result of the entire previous year, and from 2018 the volume of supplies from Egypt in this direction will at least triple! Thus, during the period from January to September 2023, almost one and a half thousand tons of mangoes and guava were imported from Egypt to the EU countries. This is already a record volume of supplies, because for the entire 2022, their figure only slightly exceeded 1.3 thousand tons.
