Alaa Farouk, the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture, has met with Abbas Al-Hajj Hassan, his Lebanese counterpart, to discuss enhancing agricultural cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was frameed within the broader context of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to support Lebanon. The discussions covered the exchange of agricultural products, including potatoes and mangoes, and the removal of barriers to their trade. Both ministers agreed to collaborate on exporting dates to global markets. Lebanon also intends to benefit from Egypt's wheat cultivation experience to improve its crop productivity.
