Egyptian citrus lands in India, marking the start of the season

IG International, one of India’s leading fresh produce importers, has announced it has received the first shipment of premium citrus fruits from Egypt, officially marking the beginning of the new citrus season. The milestone was celebrated with the ceremonial opening of the first container of fresh grapefruit and lemons at IG International’s facility. The event was attended by the consul-general of Egypt in Mumbai, Naglaa El Zawahry; vice consul of Egypt in Mumbai, Dina Albahey; GC Arora, chairman of IG International; and Tarun Arora, director of IG International, reflecting the strong collaboration between the countries.
