The article provides an analysis of the trade relationship between Egypt and Cote d'Ivoire, focusing on the export of food products from Egypt to Cote d'Ivoire from 2014 to 2020. During this period, Egyptian food exports to Cote d'Ivoire reached a value of $ 99.2 million, with a 4% increase in the last year, totaling $ 15.5 million. These exports were dominated by eight products, including industry concentrates, sugar, dried onions, poultry products, prepared animal food, biscuits and cereal products, and tobacco substitutes. Despite this growth, the lack of a trade agreement between the two countries limits the potential for further increase. The article also highlights the potential for increased trade under the Continental Free Trade Agreement, with a list of 15 food commodities that could replace existing imports of Cote d'Ivoire with Egyptian products, valued at $ 204 million in 2019.
