The Egyptian government has authorized the import of fertile quail eggs and day-old quails from Brazil, following negotiations intensified after a joint mission to African countries. This year, Egypt also began allowing the import of gelatin, collagen, cotton lint, fish, and its derivatives from Brazil, while Algeria opened its market to import chicken from Brazil. In the year to November, Brazil exported $2.08 billion to Egypt and imported $468 million, with the main products exported being sugar, corn, iron ore, beef, and chicken meat, and the main imported products being fertilizers.
