According to the latest export volume report prepared by the National Service for Animal Health and Quality (Senacsa), Paraguay exported 17,173,437 kilos of pork between January and November, for a FOB value of US$ 52.5 million. This represents an interannual growth of 57.8% in volume and 69.3% in value compared to the same period in 2024. These figures are complemented by the export of pork offal, which also recorded significant increases. This export leap largely explains the price stability that characterized 2025, according to Enzo Mannarini, president of the Paraguayan Association of Pig Producers (APPC). "We have had a stable price for at least a year and a half, something that was not usual for the sector. The export was key, but also the increase in internal consumption," he pointed out.
