(Jangseong=Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Da-eom = At around 6:32 AM on the 27th, a fire broke out at a pig farm in Seosan-myeon, Jangseong County, Jeollanam-do. The fire burned down one of the 11 barns, resulting in the death of approximately 2,500 pigs that were being raised in it. The fire was extinguished by the fire authorities in just over three hours after the report was received. The fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
