Establishing a cooperative system for managing diseases in Atlantic salmon

The National Institute of Fisheries Science has joined forces with the private sector to strengthen disease management capabilities in the Atlantic salmon farming industry. The Institute and EcoAquaFarm signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for the Exchange of Disease Management for Atlantic Salmon and Aquatic Organisms" on the 13th in the EcoAquaFarm conference room within the Busan Smart Aquaculture Cluster, as announced. This agreement aims to promote the development of the Atlantic salmon farming industry through the activation of the Smart Aquaculture Cluster and disease management, with key contents including cooperation in research and technology development for diseases of Atlantic salmon and other aquatic organisms, and regular sharing of academic information.
