The European Union (EU) has seen a 11% increase in wheat exports over the past 50 weeks, reaching 31.3 million tonnes. This includes 30.0 million tonnes of soft wheat and 0.713 million tonnes of durum wheat. France emerged as the leading exporter, followed by Romania and Germany. The primary destinations for soft wheat were Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia, while durum wheat was mainly exported to Tunisia, the UAE, Tanzania, Israel, and Algeria.
