EU cuts pulses imports from Russia a hundredfold

During the five months of the current season (July-November 2024), the EU countries imported only 5428 tons of pulses from Russia. During the same period in the season 2023/2024, the volume of pulses supply amounted to 559 462 tons. The imports of Russian peas in July-November 2024 did not exceed 68 tons (546,462 tons in the same period last season), or less than 1% of the total imports of this crop.
