EU increases oilseed imports by 8%

Since the beginning of the current agricultural year (starts in July – ROSNG), as of today, the EU countries have increased imports of oilseeds by 8 percent compared to the same period last year – to 7 million 621 thousand 500 tons. This was reported by the news agency "Grain On-Line" with reference to the European Commission data. The majority of purchases for the specified period were soybeans – 4 million 954 thousand 900 tons. Another 2 million 404 thousand 300 were rapeseed and 262 thousand 300 – sunflower.
