The European Union's soft wheat exports for the 2024-2025 season have significantly decreased by 32% compared to the previous year, reaching 7.76 million tonnes by November 3. Barley exports have also dropped by 39% to 1.7 million tonnes. Romania is the leading exporter of soft wheat, followed by Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and Bulgaria, while France and Germany have exported 660 thousand and 690 thousand tonnes, respectively. The primary buyers of EU wheat this season include Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, the UK, and Algeria. There are missing export data for Italy, France, Bulgaria, and Ireland.
