A new deal has been signed to ensure unhindered access for European dairy exports to Mercosur countries, with the aim of reducing and eventually eliminating tariffs and non-tariff barriers. The agreement also includes legal safeguards to protect over 350 high-quality European food and drink products from imitation in Mercosur countries, helping to maintain the reputation of European dairy products.
