From January to September of this year, Peru experienced a moderate increase in evaporated milk exports, reaching 45,059,683 kilos with a FOB value of US $ 58,108,397, compared to the same period in 2019 which saw 54,665,629 kilos exported for US $ 65,870,310. The primary destination for these exports was Haiti, receiving 49% of the total shipments with a value of US $ 28,543,751, followed by Chile, Bolivia, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, Gambia, and the United States. Leche Gloria SA and Nestlé Perú SA were the leading companies in the sector, accounting for US $ 40,640,000 and US $ 9,141,000 in exports, respectively.
