Exports from the inland regions of Peru continue to consolidate

The inland regions of the country continue to strengthen their export performance. According to the Monthly Regional Trade Report from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), exports from the interior of Peru grew by 22% between January and October 2025, surpassing the performance of Lima and Callao, which registered an increase of 11% in the same period. According to the report, 21 regions increased their exports in the analyzed period and seven of them reached new historical highs, surpassing their previous best records. In this regard, the San Martín region registered the largest growth at 101%. Puno registered a growth of 32%; Junín, 71%; Pasco, 43%; and Ayacucho, 44%. Likewise, Madre de Dios grew by 30%, and Amazonas by 55%.
