Last week, export prices for main types of grains in the Russian market decreased, with the most significant drop observed in the fourth class of wheat, especially in the south. Barley prices remained stable in most regions, while corn prices fell the weakest in the center. However, oilseeds like sunflower and soybeans saw a price increase. Factors influencing these prices include the dollar exchange rate, purchase prices by large consumers, export estimates, and global market conditions. The USDA has maintained the forecast for wheat exports from Russia in the 2023-24 season.
