Export of Belarusian agricultural products to Tajikistan totals $ 2.5 million

The Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus explained that the figure is 62.8% higher than the same period last year. Most exports are sugar, meat and bone meal, milk powder and whey, as well as malt. Last year, agricultural trade between the two countries amounted to about 8.1 million dollars. Of this, exports to Tajikistan in monetary terms amounted to $ 6.8 million. For comparison, the indicator is equal to 102.5% of the level of 2018. At a meeting held on June 26 this year, Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Ivan Krupko discussed with Tajik Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus Mahmadsharif Hakdod further plans for bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
