The export of food peas from the Chuvash Republic in Russia is gaining momentum

From February 21 to 27, 2024, in the Chuvash Republic, state inspectors of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Chuvash Republic and Ulyanovsk Region monitored the export shipment of 63 shipments of dried food peas with a total weight of 1615 tons. Grain products were sent to the People's Republic of China (1593.4 tons) and Serbia ( 22 t). According to the Argus-Fito system, in 2023, 6 shipments or 132 tons of peas were shipped from Chuvashia to Serbia and Poland; in 2022, peas were not exported from the republic. During the inspections, samples were selected and sent for research to the Chuvash branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH". Laboratory examination showed the absence of quarantine pests.
